EMS Management & Consultants, Inc. has successfully completed a SAS 70 Type II audit (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70: Service Organizations) for the period November 1, 2008 to April 30, 2009. 

 

A SAS 70 Type II audit is an independent accounting and auditing firm?s opinion on the fairness of the presentation of a service organization's description of controls that had been placed in operation and the suitability of the design of the controls to achieve the specified control objectives. In addition, the Type II audit specifically includes the auditor?s opinion on whether the specific controls were operating effectively during the period under review.  Operational effectiveness is accessed through detailed testing of the internal controls over the entire testing period.
